I still own my b. turbo motors built, coilovers and 4 pots are in, r200/commodore disc rear end is complete n in the shed needa put it all back together.

yea I'm here. I'm actually driving my 1600!...occasionally. although there is still stuff to do as these cars are never finished right? maybe back to an L20 with twin webbers one day. I'm getting old and nostalgic...

I think I see more Ferrari's on the road than Datsun's

Have recently moved back to WA after 20 years away, and have picked up 3 tray back 720 utes of varying age and state of disrepair. My daily roller is an 82 720 running original 1.8, also have the 84 nissan bagded 720 z22 engine, wrecked for parts and the deisel model also wrecked for parts.wanting to fit the z22 and gearbox into my girlas after 1.2 million kms she is getting a little tired in top gear but still outclimbs anything when in the dunes or out mud bugging......

You wouldnt happen to have a front diff out of a diesel 720 ute?

still shitty at myself for getting rid of my datto when we left perth 6 years ago. even though i'm busy building mostly V8 powered cars for customers i really really want to get another 180b sss. i have collected so many new old stock panels that sooner or later i'll have to find a body shell to fit them all to.

Im still around too guys, have an SR20DET 1600 sedan and live NOR. Also have a 1200 coupe in the build. I get around in the datto a few weekends per month.

I would love to meet some other 1600 owners, especially those with turbo swaps etc. Maybe a meetup could be organised soon? who would be keen?
