1981 RX-7.

Pros: Makes lots of noise, goes hard enough, isn't too bad on fuel, chics dig it, very nimble and good at corners, fun and easy enough to drive.

Cons: Hates speed bumps and bad roads (70mm off the ground will do that), gets thirsty in really bad traffic, has stupid Mazda stud pattern which makes finding good wheels hard, really small back seat.

I'm pretty happy with it, it isn't the most practical car for some adventures but 99% of the time I can't fault it.

Pros: Runs 10's, reliable, cheap on fuel, V-twin so sounds awesome and loves the corners!!!

Cons: Rainy days aren't the most enjoyable, but that's what the datto will be for ;)

My Torana was an awesome daily. Everyone just gave me thumbs up and wanted to talk about their old Torana or their mate's old Torana or their dad's old Torana or whatever hahaha. Park it anywhere, outside work or whatever and random people walking past would just stop and do a half a lap of the car lol. Went hard, cost nothing to run, stiffly sprung and low with fuggall body roll, reliable as hell, sounded tough, mad tight shift pattern, tight LSD... Mmmmm!

But anyway now I'm dailying the 260C wagon. Really practical but I'm a bit scared I'm gonna damage the trim every now and then when i'm chucking stuff in it. Heaps of room and heaps of seats is always a plus, pretty comfy and stuff. Cons would be not ideal driveability (3 gears, not much low end grunt), expensive to run compared to the straight gas Torana, and the fact that basically nobody 'gets' it is kinda gay but hey as I mature I guess that will matter less and less.

Pros: manual, gets me around, cost fark all, socially unacceptable esp when you drive around in Balwyn (everyone else owns new BMW's etc), I like the way it looks and enjoy driving it.

Cons: need to get off my ass and fix a few things, alternator is playing up, roof leaks :? engine needs a rebuild. oh and door hinge is farked.
