Hey QLD,

Looks like I am moving back to QLD, just not exactly sure where yet.
Lived in QLD half my life, and it feels like its time to move back up

So are most Datsunoholics in Brissy? I am deciding between Gold Coast, Mooloolaba, Brisbane, Gladstone and even considering Cairns (due to work).

Unsure when I am packing up and leaving but will more than likely be within the next few months

I guess i'm the newest one on here from Brisbane and the only one in this thread with a B310 Sunny

Not alot done to it yet apart from an A15 with forged pistons and crank, T03 Turbo L Series 5 speed, Techno Racing T.R.V Rims in 14x7 w/ 165/65R14 Front and 14x7 (Soon to be 9) w/ 185/65R14's. Have a larger cam to go in and an EFI system later on down the track.

A cruise would be awesome if someone got around to organizing one.

Yeah, well I am probably not going to have a choice where I move - just going to move to where I get a job. Hoping to be close to my old mates but who knows. I am sure I will find a circuit somewhere nearby

Hi to all the fellow Dataholics! My name is Peter & I've had a fondness for Datsuns since my parents owned a few many years ago ranging from a 1000 (Dad), 510 (Mum - I loved that car!) and a 120Y coupe (Dad, again!).
I currently run a 910 and, apart from feeling like an outcast here, it has served me well as my daily, so I won't be able to take it off the road for the paint job it desperately needs until work supplies me with long-promised van to use.
Mods to the 910 are twin 1&3/4 SU carbs, electronic dizzy & rear disks from TRX. Car is an import so it has a few improvements from the norm incl. fast glass, swivel map light, vented front disks (which I have had to swap for solids, courtesy of a leaky caliper) retractable rear belts, intermittent variable wiper control, air, slightly different dash & different brakeline end fittings - caused me much grief initially, but all are Aus spec now! Oh and TRX wheels.
Interested in a cruise whenever it can be arranged.

why don't one of you Queenland bluebird owners go and smack Brian around to make him fix the bluebird site??

Hi all, I'm Roger and I own an S12 Nissan Gazelle (Silvia) with a CA20DET (CA20 block, CA18DET head).

Trevor, I know Brian fairly well (910BB.com) but I don't know why the site is down, I'll ask when I see him next. I used to own an Series 2 TRX with a twin carb FJ20.

Well, i'm Daniel and own a fairly straight Blueburd trx S2 with the common upgrades
i'm living in central Qld in Gladstone but my car is in Adelaide
Got plans and more parts for it, but i'm 3000kms away so i will just continue to tell you all about it like i have finished as i have for the last year or so.

Yes i'm from South Australia and bloody proud of it, just don't hold it against me.

there is a sic metalic green 510 with cooler hanging out the front here in gladdy, terry the rally god i work with says it is a lad who works along Hanson road. just like to say a hi and very impressed with your ride. it looks mad!

and i have seen quite a few blueys with mods getting around rockhampton...

Well, I didn't exactly choose the location. I chose to live with my best mate, and she has moved there. I used to live in Mooloolaba and it's not that far from there so I am happy

toby here,26 and living on the sunshine coast I basicaly work on mine and others datsuns every day,i've done quite a few 1600,s as well as some 1200's over the past 10 years for my mates and for myself.

I think im the biggest fan of the 1600 up here ,as the 510 addication has got me bad ,I have had well over 100 datsuns all up,half of them 1600's,i just cant walk away when i see them cheap or abandoned to rust away in a paddock

my pride and will be joy, is a 68 1600 sedan which im just collecting parts for before i tear it down to restore.
At the momment i am giving a 69 1600 the quik wave of the wand before it hits the road as my daily im sick of drivin my mates dunnydore

hopefully the 69 is finnished around xmas,if this rain stops
