In an episode of the simpsons. there is a flashback to Homer at High School and on the notice board in the background there is a note "FOR SALE DATSUN 510" And I was watching the old Aussie movie Malcom the other day and saw a 1600 driving down the road in it. |

Ah the 70's. When else in time could you buy a brown car.Saw a yellow 1600 in a doco/re-enactment about a mountain exploding in the USA somewhere from some sort of volcanic buildup. Some students had gone to see it, and one was there in a 1600 when it went boom. car was buried in ash, and the guy died. |
