ok so went up to active motor wreckers just out of gawler, found a shitload of Datsuns, thought u guys might be interested, im a corolla man man myself, but I do love the 1000 and 1200 coupes, would love to save them all

nah didnt notice any cherrys, doesn't look like he has them still, were they sedans or coupes? never seen one in real life would of loved to see one!

Bothe were sedans. a yellow and a blue. both were sad looking the yellow one had had a big crash.

The reason he has so many Datsuns is because his prices are so high! He doesn't move any stock. Those cars have been there for a good decade. Any other wrecker the datto's are just a shell in as quick as a fortnight.

$350.00 for a diff centre last time I checked in there. No cherry's there Troy.

last time i was there there was still 1 cherry i thought it was red or blue cant remember was a bit rought and missin a few things

I was going to buy the taillights off a corolla but couldn't get the boot open to remove them, plus it was stacked on top a car and wasn't prepared to risk jumping in it to try and pop it from the inside, never mind the spiders :S

$45 a side he wanted...

would love to save those Dattos though

where in the yard were the Cherrys located? all those Datsuns were half way down on the right hand side...

Unsure where the Cherrys where located. I only ever had pics of them. I brought my 2nd Cherry from there. $350 and then got it transportedby truck to Tas on a back load ($250).

id assume they would of sent them to scrap as I dont think they would of had anyone after parts for one come in lol

your red one looks decent! Were they sold in Australia or are they imports?

Datsun brought 4 cars in to test but deemed them to be unsuitable for the australian market. Im unsure if they kept the cars here or shipped them back to Japan. I do know that my green car and the coupe I have are imported cars.

was at u pull it lisbef on sat to find nothing i was after

although i did find my mates old sunny hatch (yellow with flames airbrushed on it) was pretty raped as the 1400cc head, scoop, shocks etc were all gone but i noticed that the 2 inch sports exhaust was still on it (extractors gone also)

the exhaust sounded great so worth getting if you have a sunny also

the trx mags i gave to him to roll it out of the driveway (where it sat for a ca that never happened) were gone straight away

almost cried when i saw it on the rims in the yard
