I don't understand the appeal behind them. IMO they ruin the look of the car. I think it'd look tougher without them.

At the moment though, it just looks silly. I can't take the car seriously when it's got 3 meters of oil cooler hose sticking out the front.

It's the bozozoku look that he's going for, so it fits the theme of the car perfectly.

IMO looks cool having those lines sticking out, think about that stupid so stupid sex spec look and that is really silly hanging handcuffs of your rv mirror and fitting 22" rims onto a fully sick S14 with pink candy paint job and snake skin interior, not to forget the NVMY or XXX something number plates on the dashboard.

The oldshool bozoku looks is tought and it gives it that all metal look no airy fairy look, than a little Barby doll car as I mentioned before. Hot4s are the main culprit when it comes to this hence why I don't buy their magazines anymore!!!

in fact i reckon there should be a magazine for only oldshool 4cyl and rotarys so pre 1986, fast fours comes to mind but they have been for a while showing GTRs and Supras which takes the whole thing out of it being a 4cyl/rotary mag. Anyways if we were to have somethign like the Japanese Nostalgic car mag in the USA that would be hell crazy, filled with car just like this Fonzy TA22.....

Jesus, I didn't think there'd be THAT much cooler hose. I could redo my entire engine bay with all that.
Never understood the stretched tyres either.
The rest of the car looks alright though.

It's cool. Built well and to the Boso theme. :)

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the car, I just think it'd be better looking without the cooler lines. Honestly, the first time I looked at it, I didn't notice anything else because I was too busy looking at the cooler lines. How that style ever became popular, I'll never know.

^^^^ Yeah I agree either you love it or not but that looks was created back in the early to mid 80s, I guess its just like those ppl here in aus who chop up their front bar just to show of their big fridge of a cooler and ruin the lines of a car. IMO if the lines were to be hidden and not as long it would look a lot cleaner but that feats the point of the theme.

I am guessing Bozozuku translates to back yard bogan style in english. It reminds me of a 6 cyl SLR Torana with a bonnet scoop made out of a kitty litter tray.
